The slightly inclined sandy beaches of the Monarch Beach Bay Club are the ideal place to learn to skimboard, year round. A lesson from one of our expert instructors is a great way to learn the sport or take your skills to the next level. Whether you are just learning the fundamentals of running and jumping on a board or you want to learn the latest tricks and maneuvers, we’ve got you covered

Certified in CPR and First Aid, our instructor’s passion for teaching and their friendly attitudes make learning fun for everyone -- whether you’ve never tried before or want to take your skill to the next level.

Lessons are booked privately for each group, meaning you won’t be taking a class with other people you don’t know.

Cancellation Policy

• Please provide all cancellation notices only by texting or calling 949.594.2202

  • DEPOSIT: 50% Deposit taken at time of booking

  • FULL REFUND (minus processing fees): 24 hours > notice

  • 50% REFUND or RESCHEDULE (minus processing fees): 12 hours > notice

  • NO REFUND: 4 hours > notice (but you may reschedule for a +$30 fee)

  • NO REFUND: 4 hours < notice

• TIMING & LATE ARRIVALS Your lesson or rental begins exactly at the time reserved. To ensure fairness to our staff and other guests, the activity will end at the originally scheduled time regardless of your arrival time. If you arrive late and wish to extend your session beyond the scheduled end time, extra charges will apply (subject to instructor and equipment availability).

• CONDITIONS & SAFETY The ocean and weather are constantly changing and our instructors cannot control the conditions. Sometimes the waves are calm and other times they are on the rough side. We assure you that instructors will keep you safe and make an effort to show you a good time, no matter what.

• We reserve the right to change any itinerary to match existing conditions. If we must cancel due to unsafe or unsuitable weather or sea conditions (as determined by our staff and/or lifeguards), you will have your choice of RESCHEDULING or a FULL REFUND. We are not responsible for non-refundable hotel or transportation costs. If a customer desires to end the lesson early, he or she will not receive a refund.
