San Juan Capistrano Food Tour
"Laughter is brightest in the place where the food is." - Irish Proverb
Embark on a historical culinary tour in San Juan Capistrano, starting with freshly baked pastries and coffee along California’s oldest street. Explore local antique and art galleries, before walking over to savor bites (and an option for a locally-brewed beer flight) at Michelin rated BBQ. After this we will have options on the tour for either a homemade cup of tomato soup and sandwich, flatbread, or Mediterranean style Yukon potatoes, all while learning some of the exciting history of missionaries, fur traders, pirates, and celebrities that have made San Juan Capistrano one of the most historic towns in California. Cap off the tour with a unique hot-churro ice cream from one of the oldest buildings serving food in state, which was built in 1797 as a prison and then converted in to a restaurant in 1948 and frequented by the likes of Nixon and Frank Sinatra. A memorable experience for all groups sure to leave your bellies and spirits full of joy!
