Huntington Beach team building activities
1. Surf lessons. Huntington Beach is on our surf school's regular rotation. Lessons start with instruction on the sand, then move into the whitewater with a 1:3 instructor ratio. Boards, wetsuits and towels are included, for 1–24 surfers at a time. Surf lessons · Surf, SUP & bodyboard.
2. Kayaking. A guided paddle through calm water, with an orientation before launch and guides on the water with your group. Launch spot confirmed when you book. Kayak.
3. Electric boat tour. A relaxed, social cruise on quiet harbor water, with time for conversation. Ask us about boat sizes for your group.
4. Team building beach olympics. Relays and team challenges on HB's wide beach, run as a friendly competition. We handle permits and logistics.
5. Cook-offs. Hunt, Gather, Cook splits your group into teams that earn their ingredients through challenges, then cook against the clock for a judged tasting. It runs 2.5–3.5 hours and scales from about 12 to 100+. We'll confirm the venue when you book.
6. Competitive scavenger hunt. Teams race around town completing app-based photo and trivia challenges on a live leaderboard.
7. Foodie tour. A guided walking tasting tour of local favorites. Ask us about stops and timing.

Wellness & fitness add-ons
Add sunrise yoga, a beach HIIT bootcamp, pilates, a sound bath, guided breathwork, or a cold plunge after the surf session. It's an easy way to make a conference day feel like a retreat. We bring the instructors and equipment and handle setup, so ask us which sessions fit your schedule.
Group sizes and what's included
Surf takes 1–24 (larger groups run in heats), cook-offs about 12–100+ and the beer tour 6–30. We'll size the other activities to your headcount. Every program includes planning, a pre-event info sheet, certified guides, gear and water (by activity), and a 72-hour weather check. Pricing is quote-based.

Are the waves in Huntington too big for beginners?
We choose the spot and timing based on that day's surf, and lessons stay in beginner-friendly whitewater.
Does the beer tour include transportation?
Yes. Transportation between all five breweries is included.
What's a good activity for a 75-person group?
A cook-off or beach olympics. Both are built for big groups and run as one shared competition.
Can non-drinkers join the beer tour?
Everyone is welcome on the tour. Let us know when you book and we'll plan around it.
